Why do we care about Jessica Simpson's weight?
I know I'm a little late posting about here because I think she's old news now and has probably lost a bit of her weight at this point. But, I still think it's an important topic. Why do we care about Jessica Simpson's weight gain?
I think many people care because misery loves company and people are glad to see the rich and famous with their chefs and personal trainers fail. It makes their failure ok.
For me, her weight gain illustrates that we are all the same. The battle to lose weight and to be healthy and look like we want is more than just having the resources at our disposal. Many of us look at celebrities and say....it's easier for them. Is it really? Do they not work just as many hours as we do and have to make time to work out? Some of them do. Do they have to make choices when they get home from a long day of work and have to decide whether or not to eat a box of Girl Scout cookies or salmon and rice?

I personally think she looks fine, but her clothing is what sucks. :)
That is exactly what I thought. Her body probably looks pretty good but those clothes are HORRIBLE! I dont think that outfit would look good even on someone like Pauline Nordin.
But you are very right, misery loves company.
I agree, I think she looks fine, she is a beautiful woman...I don't know of anyone who looks good in those high-waisted jeans!
