Progress Pics - Another 2 weeks

Left June 4 * Right June 18

I added an extra picture because of my "stance" I changed it from week to week by accident!

I apologize for the background in these images...I was out of town for business when I took them. I had to adapt. I did the best I could without a camera tripod, using the counter in the hotel room!

I am so excited about my results this 2 weeks. I really see that my waist is trimming. My thighs are leaning out a bit, but I have a ways to go before my jeans will fit. I'm still one size up in my jeans and pants for now. I'm getting much closer though and I'm pretty confident that I will be able to wear my pants again once I lean out. I know I have bulked up a lot in my lower half but I'm hoping that I still have a lot of fat to lose so I can wear my old clothes again soon!!!

I was really worried about my results this week because after my cheat meal last Saturday (full of carbs and sugar as usual) I gained 9, yes NINE, pounds overnight. I'm sure it was only water weight but I've never heard of NINE POUNDS OVERNIGHT!!! Every day after, it was slowly coming down, 2-3 pounds a day but part of my brain said, OMG...I ruined it in one meal!!! I talked to my trainer and he's perplexed as well, it seems. He thinks it might be hormonal....he's probably right! The human body, especially the female body, is amazing!!!

good god woman, you look FANTASTIC!!! I definitely see you trimming that waist & thighs--amazing!!

The human body really is a strange thing. A gallon of water weighs 8 lbs, so that would be like stepping on the scale holding that. How the body gains 9lbs overnight is beyond perplexing but we know it happens. I freak about my cheat meals too...You have to tell yourself you'll be ok, ya know? But that is always easier said than done.

I see your subtle changes, and they are only going to start showing more and more. This is great!! Keep it up, you will be there before you know it!

BTW, I changed my blog URL the other day and realize now I have taken away the ability for some of my followers to find my blog! I have contacted those who's email I had, but for the rest of you I am leaving my new URL here in your comment. Please make sure to update your follow list so you can keep track of me! :)

WOW! I can really see a difference too in just 2 weeks! Keep up the hard work! Also, how do/can hormones affect weight on a weekly basis?

Holy cow! What amazing results! You are following the Body for Life program? I am big believer in that one. You have inspired me to revisit it!

You have a great physique. I am shocked by the nine pounds as well! You were brave to weigh the next day anyway. I would have waited. If I know it isnt going to be less than the last weigh in, I dont do it. :) Messes with my head.

You have a great trainer (or so it seems) so I am sure everything is on track.

You are doing a great job.

I probably should have waited to weight but I like to weigh every day (and my trainer recommends it to adjust for water weight) but you're right...the morning after a cheat should probably be skipped!

I'm following my trainer's plan for me. I blogged about him...Lean Bodies Consulting (leanbodiesconsulting.com). I'm working w/ Erik Ledin and I'm extremely impressed so far with my workouts and my diet. I am seeing results, slowly but surely. I haven't lost any of the muscle mass that I worked so hard to gain....it appears I'm only losing fat.

I'm excited, taking a closer look at my profile pics - you can see my hams and quads a bit more rounded, showing the little bit of fat loss. I'm stoked! I can't wait for more time to pass and more results to show. I'm thinking that this weight that I'm at right now is the perfect "off season" for me...or my high end cap that I will stop bulking and start cutting. I let myself get uncomfortably large bulking this last time.

M. Robo - Hormones as in my period. My trainer thinks that may have something to do with the gallon of water weight gained in one day. We retain water at certain times during our cycle and bloat and that may be an explanation for some of that water gain...who knows! I'm back down to my original weight after 2 cheats this week...it took a week and 2 mornings after my 2nd cheat meal I'm back to the weight I was last Saturday. Weird!!!

About This Blog

I am Tori (FITori) and welcome to my blog!!!

I created this blog from the encouragement of my best friend who pushed me to start a blog about my passion, which I am always talking about! It started as a way to inspire others the way I have been inspired and to share what inspires me. I also want to share with you what I have learned through my years of research on health and fitness.

For me, this blog is a great place for me to document my fitness journey. I decided to compete this year, but have transferred that goal to next year so that I can bulk and compete in Figure. This blog is my accountability and hopefully I can get some advice and tips along the way. I am hoping that I can learn from you all also as I post what I am learning along the way. If I am wrong or there is advice for me, I want it! I want your theories. What are you doing differently?

I'm also looking for accountability to keep this up and inspiration from you all. I read your blogs and get inspired and knowing you're reading mine keeps me going!

Thank you for your support!!! Let me know if you have any special requests for blog posts!
